Srinagar, Feb 04 (KNO): Ehsaas Foundation, an NGO, on Wednesday said to have launched Ehsaas-e-Sukhan, a new literary initiative aimed at nurturing and promoting young poetic voices across the Kashmir Valley. In a statement to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said the platform, with the tagline “A Celebration of Poetry & Expression,” has been conceived as an open-mic space where emerging poets, writers, and artists can freely share their words, emotions and stories in a supportive and creative environment. The spokesperson added that Ehsaas-e-Sukhan will focus on language, literature, poetry, and folk art, with special emphasis on encouraging new and unheard voices. The initiative seeks to revive literary culture while providing opportunities for young artists to showcase their talent and engage in meaningful cultural dialogue. “Vice Chairman Burhan Nazir said the initiative is dedicated to promoting youth, new faces, and emerging artists who often lack platforms to express themselves.” “Ehsaas-e-Sukhan is not just an event; it is a movement to support young artists and give them the confidence to express their thoughts through words. Through this platform, we aim to promote new talent and preserve our rich literary and cultural heritage,” the spokesperson said. He said, the NGO has invited poets, writers, storytellers, and literature enthusiasts to join the initiative and help build a vibrant and inclusive literary community in Kashmir. With Ehsaas-e-Sukhan, Ehsaas Foundation continues its commitment to empowering youth, promoting art and culture, and creating spaces where voices are heard, valued, and celebrated—(KNO)
