Contingents of JKAP Women, District Police Jammu bags 2nd, 3rd positions respectively, DGP congratulates contingents

Jammu, Jan 26 (KNO): On the occasion of 72nd Republic Day Parade at Maulana Azad Memorial Stadium Jammu, Jammu Kashmir Police Pipe Band, contingent of District Police Jammu and JK Armed Police Women contingents brought laurels to the organisation by securing top positions during the Parade. Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) congratulated these contingents. While appreciating them, the DGP said that the performance of these contingents shows the dedication and discipline of the force in every field. He wished all ranks, families of martyrs, retired police personnel a happy Republic Day. During the 72nd Republic Day Parade today Jammu and Kashmir Police Pipe Band led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdul Ahad stood first amongst the bands from the participating forces while Jammu Kashmir Armed Police Women contingent led by DySP Mansha Beig and District Police Jammu contingent led by DySP Priyanka Kumari stood 2nd and 3rd respectively in the general parade category—(KNO)
