Pampore, Sep 01 (KNO): The first batch of 50 students supported under the Scholarship-cum-Financial Assistance Programme sponsored by Trumboo Industries Pvt Ltd (TCI MAX Cements) has commenced classes in various skill and vocational courses at Government ITI Pampore.
According to a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) by TCI MAX Cements, the training is being conducted under the Skill Development Department, Jammu and Kashmir, with the scholarship initiative aimed at providing better educational and employment opportunities to youth from the adjoining areas.
The initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts focused on promoting skill development and creating opportunities for the youth.
On the occasion, MLA Pampore and Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, along with Chairman, Trumboo Industries Pvt Ltd, Mohammad Shafi Trumboo, interacted with the students and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunity provided to them.
Addressing the students, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi and Mohammad Shafi Trumboo wished them success in their academic and professional journey.
They emphasised that acquiring technical and vocational skills can play a vital role in enhancing employability and building a sustainable future.
The students were encouraged to attend classes regularly, develop practical skills, and make optimum use of the facilities and training being provided at the ITI to become skilled, confident, and self-reliant professionals.
The scholarship initiative, being implemented in collaboration with Government ITI Pampore, reflects TCI MAX Cements’ commitment towards youth empowerment, skill development and community welfare in the region.
