An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the fireman was injured after he accidentally fell while working on the third floor of the station building at Sogam. He said the fireman was shifted to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. He was identified as Mohammad Amin Khan, a resident of Bandipora.
