Srinagar, Aug 06 (KNO): The Directorate of Youth Services & Sports has said that 60 vacancies were filled in the department during the past five years. In a reply to a query under the Right to Information (RTI) Act the department, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), has stated that appointments were made through the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), Police and other allied government recruitment agencies. The department said the recruitment includes 19 Physical Education Lecturers (PEL), 35 Junior Assistants and six Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), taking the total number of posts filled to 60. Pertinently, the information was provided by the Public Information Officer of the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports in response to an RTI application filed by M.M. Shuja—(KNO)
