J&K Police prepared to face challenges: ADGP Anand Jain | KNO

Jammu, Oct 21 (KNO): Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Anand Jain on Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is “ready to face any difficulty with full strength.” The statement comes in response to the recent incident where a doctor and six laborers lost their lives when terrorists targeted a tunnel construction site along the Srinagar-Leh National Highway in Ganderbal district on Sunday. The ADGP, Jammu was speaking after laying wreath at police memorial on ‘Police Commemoration Day’. The officer also paid tributes to brave police officers and personnel who have laid down their lives in line of duty. He also paid homage to civilians martyred in Gagangir terror attack. ADGP Jain underscores the commitment of the police force to address threats and maintain order, assuring the public that law enforcement agencies are prepared to respond decisively to any acts of violence—(KNO)
