Ganderbal, Mar 31 (KNO): Residents of Babarishi village in Chattergul area of district Ganderbal are facing immense difficulties due to the lack of bridge over Bramser Nalla. Residents of Barindra, Babarishi and its adjoining areas of Ganderbal told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that they walk on temporary wooden bridge every day and cross Bramser Nalla Chattergul to reach the nearby market. There is a long pending standing demand from the people of the area to build a bridge over the Bramser Nalla Chattergul as this is one of the massive problems there. “It is very hard for people to cross the Bramser Nalla Chattergul during rainy days and especially in winter,” the residents said. Residents said that from past couple of years, many people have lost their lives due to lack of communication because they could not get timely medical check-up. “If there had been a bridge, many people would have been saved," he said, adding, "We only know how we risk our lives every winter when we cross the Bramsar Nalla Chattergul I put it." The residents appealed to LG and DC Ganderbal to look into the matter, so that they may not suffer more—(KNO)
