Srinagar, Sept 10 (KNO): Young BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain today attended a UT level Pen Cak Silat sports event in Srinagar as a Chief Guest where he hailed the large participation of young boys and girls from all the 20-districts of UT in the event. As per news agency--Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Er Aijaz was invited in the event as Chief Guest by the Sports Council of J&K. speaking on the occasion, Er Aijaz felicitated the boys and girls for taking part in the UT level sports event competition stating that J&K was full of talent and youth were earlier facing difficulties in getting their talent showcased. While congratulating the winners of the competition, the UT administration led by LG Manoj Sinha was trying its best to explore hidden talent of youth across all 20 districts of the UT as evident today. Er Aijaz expressed his gratitude to Sports Council for organizing series of sports events where there is presence of hundreds of youth including large number of girls and women. He said that UT administration was committed to streamline the sports infrastructure and a separate sports budget was aimed at setting up quality indoor and outdoor stadiums across the UT on a fast track basis. He said that indoor games are being promoted by the administration given the fact that weather remains erratic for almost four to five months in Kashmir. Er Aijaz separately met each participant and raised  their morale besides urging them to continue with the efforts in the field of sports--(KNO)
