Srinagar, Apr 22 (KNO): The Eid-ul-Fitr prayers are unlikely to be held at the historic Jama Masjid Srinagar tomorrow as the mosque management have not accepted the prayer timing proposed by the administration, sources said. Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the district administration had suggested timing for Eid prayer at Jama Masjid which was not agreed to by the management of the mosque. It is unlikely that the Eid prayer will be held at the grand mosque. The Auqaf had announced that Eid-ul-Fitr prayer will be offered at 09:00 am Authorities today allowed Jumma-tul-Vida—the farewell Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan—at the Jama Masjid after four years. They also allowed night—long Shab-e-Qadr prayer for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
