Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNO): Additional DGP Traffic (JK Police) Tsewang Namgyal has been awarded the prestigious President's Police Medal for distinguished service along
Namgyal an IPS officer AGMUT Cadre 1995 batch is one among two officers who got President's police award this year.
Speaking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Namgyal said that he is happy to get this award and attributed his success to hard work with honesty for about 25 years now.
He said that award is based on personal performance and “my suggestion to everyone will to work professionally in all circumstances.”
The other officer who got President's police medal from J&K is ADGP Dr. S D Singh.
Moreover, 52 J&K police personnel got police medals for gallantry while as 17 got police medals for meritorious services
Notably, Namgyal, the senior cop who belongs to cold desert Ladakh UT, that was over a year back carved out of erstwhile state of J&K has earlier served as IGP traffic and was promoted to the rank of ADGP in the month of November last year.
Apart from DGP J&K, many other senior officers and sub ordinates including those from administrative department have congratulated T Namgyal for the prestigious award for his over two decade services in police department—(KNO)
