Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir’s startup ecosystem has expanded by 287%, with DPIIT-registered startups increasing from 237 in 2020 to 917 in 2024, including 333 women-led ventures, according to the official document of the year 2024-25.
“Over 1,600 startups have registered with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), supported by the New Start-Up Policy 2024-27 and the J&K Start-Up Portal, launched in July 2024,” reads the document accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
