Srinagar, Oct 26(KNO): Young BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh block Er Aijaz Hussain Wednesday distributed kits and Cash among the mothers who have given birth to girl child recently in Khonmoh block of Srinagar stating that the Beti Bachaav, Beti Padav scheme is a revolutionary scheme and every mother of girl child should take benefit of the same. Er Aijaz was chief guest at the Beti Bachao Beti Padao program organized by the District Social Welfare Srinagar where ICDS Zeenat Ara, heads of various Anganwadi Centers and other officials of the department were present. Er Aijaz distributed Kits and Cash among the mothers who have given birth to girl child recently in Khonmoh block of Srinagar. As per news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), speaking on the occasion, DDC member Er Aijaz said that Beti Bachao Beti Padao is a revolutionary scheme launched by the Prime Minister Narender Modi just to ensure no girl remains illiterate and that no parent leaves their girl child uneducated. He said that the scheme has raised the female sex ration in J&K and the female literacy rate has drastically improved over the past few years especially since the launch of the Beti Bachao Beti Padao Scheme. He said that hundreds of mothers took part in the function at Khonmoh who were explained the benefits of the scheme by the officials of Social Welfare Department. Er Aijaz urges the mothers to get registered and enjoy the benefits of Beti Bachao Beti Padao Scheme and Ladli Beti scheme also. He said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendera Modi, dozens of schemes for women and female children were launched so that no mother feels helpless in getting her child admitted in a school to give her quality education. The female folk of Khonmoh hailed Er Aijaz for reaching out to them and explaining the benefits of women and girls’ related schemes--(KNO)
