Anantnag, Oct 14 (KNO): Mutahir Showkat, a young entrepreneur from South Kashmir, has recently published his new book, titled ‘Shadows That Shape Us’. Known for his ventures as the founder of Clout Scoop and MutaVerse, Mutahir has also built a reputation as an author with several published works. His latest book explores themes of personal growth, ambition, and the struggle to remain connected to one’s roots. While discussing the book, Mutahir shared that the story follows a boy from a poor background who works hard to overcome the challenges in his life. However, as he begins to experience success, he finds himself drifting away from the values and relationships that shaped him. “The story is about more than just overcoming hardship; it’s also about how success can sometimes make us lose sight of where we came from,” he explained as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). The novel focuses on the balance between ambition and identity. Mutahir noted that Shadows That Shape Us explores how the pursuit of success can cause individuals to become disconnected from their origins. “It’s important to achieve your goals, but also to remember the foundations that have shaped you,” he added. The story touches on the protagonist’s experiences with relationships, personal growth, and the lessons learned through life’s ups and downs. As the boy navigates the complexities of his journey, he realizes that success comes with its own set of challenges, and not all of them are easy to manage. “The character learns that wealth and status don’t always bring the fulfillment one might expect,” Mutahir said. Mutahir chose to publish the book independently, giving him full creative control over the narrative. “Self-publishing allowed me to present the story as I intended,” he stated. The book is now available on Amazon. Shadows That Shape Us encourages readers to reflect on their own values, ambitions, and the importance of staying connected to their roots, regardless of how much success they achieve. Through this story, Mutahir aims to highlight the significance of balancing personal growth with remaining true to one’s identity—(KNO)
