Budgam, Sep 12 (KNO): Member of Parliament (MP) from Srinagar constituency and senior National Conference (NC) leader, Syed Aga Ruhullah Thursday expressed hopes that Engineer Rasheed will target the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the same intensity as he has targeted National Conference (NC). Speaking at public rally in Waterhal, Budgam, Ruhullah told the reporters that Er Rasheed, who had criticized NC and PDP harshly, is expected to address the BJP in a similar tone. “We hope he will use the same words for BJP leaders as he used for us," Ruhullah said, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). He emphasized the need for unity against what he described as the BJP's oppression in Jammu and Kashmir. “We don't want division; we want unity in this State. Whoever wants to fight against BJP's tyranny and save this state from division is welcome to join us. These two conditions are enough for us. Our doors are open to those who want to come along.” Ruhullah also reiterated that the struggle is to restore the identity of Jammu and Kashmir and reclaim what has been taken away. “Our fight is for the identity of Jammu and Kashmir and against the oppression that BJP has inflicted on our people," he said—(KNO)
