Budgam: 17 injured, one critical in stray dogs attack | KNO

Budgam, Jan 06 (KNO): Seventeen persons were injured after they were attacked by the stray dogs in Budgam town of central Kashmir on Monday, with one severely injured person referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the incident occurred at the main market of Budgam town, where stray dogs appeared suddenly and attacked multiple individuals, sparking panic among locals. Medical officials at the Budgam District Hospital confirmed that 17 people received treatment for injuries, with one patient in serious condition shifted to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment. Local residents have urged authorities to take immediate action to address the rising stray dog menace in the area so that people can have a sigh of relief—(KNO)
