JK Bank chairman launches prepaid & pocket money cards | KNO

On the sidelines of plantation ceremony at Badamvaer, Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed unveiled J&K Bank Pocket Money Card and J&K Bank Gift Card, two upcoming digital products of the bank, in presence of Executive Presidents Vagish Chander, S S Sehgal and Abdul Rauf, Senior President and CFO S K Bhat, Senior President Abdul Rashid, Presidents, Vice Presidents and other senior officers of the bank. Chairman Parvez Ahmed urged the participants to speed up the process of digitization of the products besides evolving strategies to place it in the contemporary marketing framework and practices.

 On the sidelines of plantation ceremony at Badamvaer, Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed unveiled J&K Bank Pocket Money Card and J&K Bank Gift Card, two upcoming digital products of the bank, in presence of Executive Presidents Vagish Chander, S S Sehgal and Abdul Rauf, Senior President and CFO S K Bhat, Senior President Abdul Rashid, Presidents, Vice Presidents and other senior officers of the bank.

Chairman Parvez Ahmed urged the participants to speed up the process of digitization of the products besides evolving strategies to place it in the contemporary marketing framework and practices.

He said, “The idea behind every product is to earn profit for the organisation besides meeting the needs and requirements of the customers in a best possible way.”

Executive President Abdul Rauf gave a brief overview of the product on the occasion.

As part of the bank’s push towards digital economy, the bank shall soon introduce its Gift card and Pocket Money Card in the market. These cards have been tailored to meet the different needs and requirements of our prospective customers.

With an upper limit of Rs 25000, J&K Bank Pocket Money Card is PIN protected and can be recharged as per requirements. With state-of-the-art security features, the card has been designed to cater to different needs of parents, children and youth especially students. The card can be recharged through and used at various digital platforms like PoS, e-banking, mobile banking and even at ATMs.

With a cash value from Rs 500 to Rs 50000, J&K Bank Gift Card is also pin protected and can be used at all digital platforms from PoS to e-commerce to mobile banking. This card is secure and the easiest cashless mode of presenting a gift on events like birthday, marriage, other achievements or on festive occasions like Eid, Diwali, Gurupurab or Christmas. However, the gift card is a one-time use card and cannot be recharged.
