Jammu, Feb 07 (KNO): The Legislative Assembly on Saturday witnessed a heated exchange between the National Conference and the Bharatiya Janata Party over the “special “ status of Jammu & Kashmir. Pandemonium broke out in the House when National Conference MLA Javid Baig was vociferously speaking on the special status. Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma countered him by asserting that there is no such thing as a special status. “I am ready to face any punishment if you can show me the words “special status” in the Indian Constitution. Shouting in the House will not work,” he said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Sharma’s remarks were countered by NC MLAs with slogans in favour of Article 370. BJP MLAs also resorted to sloganeering, leading to commotion that continued for a few minutes—(KNO)
