DGP Dr. Vaid chairs high level meeting at SKPAU | KNO

The up-gradation of infrastructure and other facilities for all the Training Institutions particularly the Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur (SKPAU) is our priority. This was stated by Director General of Police, Dr. S.P. Vaid during the high level meeting at SKPAU.

The DGP said that the Academy should prioritize its requirements and PHQ will be prompt in meeting those requirements. He said that the requirements which cannot be immediately met out would be fulfilled through modernization and other plans.  Dr. Vaid while referring to the deficiencies of staff and infrastructure in the training institutions assured the officers and the heads of training institutes that PHQ was in know of those requirements and steps will be taken accordingly so that they are met.

Director SKPAU Shri Mohd. Sulaiman Salaria, Assistant Director (Indoor), Assistant Director (Outdoor), Assistant Director (Admn.) highlighted the requirements with regard to the infrastructure before the DGP in the meeting. Onspot orders were  issued with regard to some requirements  by the DGP. He directed Special DGP and other officers of PHQ to redress others as quick as possible.

Among others Special DG PHQ Shri V.K Singh, MD  Police Housing Corporation Sh. A.K Choudhary, IGP CID Sh. A.G Mir,  IGP Jammu, Dr. S.D Singh, Director SSG Sh. Rajesh Kumar, IGP Railway Sh. M.A Ganaie, IGP Personnel PHQ Sh.J.P Singh, IGP Hqrs. Sh. S.K Gupta, DIG Udhampur,  AIsGP PHQ, SSP Udhampur, Principal PTTI Vijaypur and Principal PTS Kathua were present on the occasion.
