Vehicle resale without authorization banned in Baramulla | KNO

Baramulla, Dec 04 (KNO): The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Baramulla Thursday banned resale and purchase of registered vehicles without a valid authorization under Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR). Official, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) warned that such vehicles and establishments shall be seized under the government orders issued on November-24 wherein the resale or purchase of registered vehicles without authorization under CMVR Rules 55A–55H has been declared illegal in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The ARTO announced that after 21 days of issuance of the Transport Commissioner’s circular, all such vehicles and establishments involved in unauthorized resale or purchase will be treated as banned in Baramulla district and shall be liable to seizure. Dealers and owners associated with resale or purchase of any kind of registered vehicles have been asked to strictly follow the guidelines in letter and spirit to avoid legal action under the law—(KNO)
