TOP STORIES No construction in Baramulla without municipal nod | KNO Published 2 hours ago on December 01, 2025 By KNO Correspondent Baramulla, Dec 01 (KNO): The District Administration Baramulla has directed all executing agencies to obtain mandatory prior permission from the concerned Municipal Council or Committee before starting any construction-related activity within the municipal limits. The directive as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) were issued following the reports that some agencies have been undertaking construction, reconstruction and repair works without approval from municipal authorities, in violation of municipal laws. Executing agencies in an issued circular have been told to strictly comply with statutory provisions and secure clearance from municipal bodies before initiating any developmental activity.
