COVID: Admin extends lockdown for three more days in Ganderbal | KNO

Ganderbal, Aug 06 (KNO): The district administration Ganderbal on Thursday decided to extend the lockdown for three more days in the district to prevent the deadly COVID-19 from spreading. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal in a tweet announced that there will be complete lockdown in Ganderbal for next three days including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Iqbal said that all the shops, commercial establishments and public and private traffic will remain shut in the district except medical and milk and vegetable shops. “All the government offices and banks will remain functional,” he said, appealing people to cooperate with the administration to help in containing the spread of deadly Coronavirus. “Markets/business establishments of district shall remain closed for next 3 days(Fri, sat, sun) except medical/Milk/Veg shops. Public & Pvt transport shall also remain suspended except med emergencies.All govt offices/ banks to remain functional,” he tweeted—(KNO)
