Srinagar, Aug 27 (KNO): In a major reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir Police, senior IPS officer M.K. Sinha, who was serving as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, CID J&K, the Intelligence Chief of the Union Territory. According to an order issued by the Home Department, a copy of which is in possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO),Nitish Kumar, ADGP CID J&K has been posted as ADGP J&K Armed Police. Uttam Chand, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Police Operations & Services, PHQ has been posted as IGP Railways J&K vice Vivek Gupta. He shall also continue to hold the additional charge of IGP Operations & Services. As per order Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Jammu Zone has been posted as IGP Headquarters J&K. Sujit Kumar, IGP Security J&K has been posted as IGP Kashmir Zone. Vivek Gupta, IGP Railways has been posted as IGP Security J&K vice Sujit Kumar. Tejinder Singh, IGP CID J&K has been posted as IGP Jammu Zone vice Bhim Sen Tuti. Shakti Kumar Pathak has been designated as Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau. Mubassir Latifi Ameer has been posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) IR Kashmir. Sahil Sarangal has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama. Sunny Gupta has been posted as SSP Kishtwar.Tahir Saleem Khan has been posted as SSP Handwara.Muzaffar Ahmad Shah has been posted as SO to IG Kashmir Zone. Naresh Singh has been posted as SSP Rajouri. Transfers and postings have been ordered by the Lieutenant Governor in the interest of administration with immediate effect—(KNO)
