An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident occurred when the man was hit on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway. He sustained critical injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries," he said. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Ahad Khanday (65), son of Abdul Khaliq Khanday of Nipora, Qazigund.
