Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNO): The Boulevard Road along with other major roads of Srinagar city remained choked with traffic for the past three days as people from across the valley flocked to the Mughal Gardens to celebrate Eid. With the conclusion of festivities, normal life is gradually returning to routine. As per the details collected by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the roads were packed with autorickshaws, cars, private hired vehicles, and bikes, as families and friends stepped out to make the most of the holiday. The Mughal Gardens, the favourite Eid destination, saw a massive footfall, with visitors enjoying the pleasant weather and scenic beauty. To add joy to the fest, the Tulip Garden of Srinagar, Asia's largest Tulip garden, also attracted people, making roads clogged with vehicles. Adil Ahmad, a visitor from Baramulla, said, “It is a tradition for us to visit these gardens after Eid prayers. This year, the crowd was overwhelming.” Shopkeepers and street vendors along the Boulevard also saw brisk business during the celebrations. “Eid brings people out, and that’s good for us. Sales were excellent over the last two days,” said a street vendor selling snacks. Notably, as the holiday mood fades, businesses, offices, and daily routines are gradually resuming, marking the end of another festive Eid in Kashmir—(KNO)
