Body of One Militant Recovered, Two Militants Reportedly Escaped, 2 Army Men Killed | KNO

A complete lull has been reported from the Encounter that started between militants and Government forces in the Nooristan area of Samboora Pampore in Pulwama District of South Kashmir on Thursday evening. As Per initial reports available, the troopers had sealed the complete area where two to three militants were believed to be trapped. One of the Militants was killed in the initial exchange of fire in which two soldiers were also killed. However post the initial exchange of fire, no firing was reported from the side of militants. "There has been no sound of firing from the past one hour and forces are conducting search operation at the encounter site," an official told ' Meanwhile it is also being told by Local sources that the other two militants have escaped from the encounter site, however the operation has not been called off yet.
