Nowgam militant attack: 2 cops dead, another injured | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 14 (KNO): At a time when entire valley is on a high alert in view of I-Day, militants fired on a police party at Nowgam bypass leaving two cops dead and another critically injured. A police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that militants fired at police Naka party, leaving two policemen dead and another cop injured. Kashmir police tweeted that two police injured in the attack succumbed on way to hospital. “Area has been cordoned off," he told KNO. The police official said that massive search is on in the area—(KNO)
