Explosive shell recovered, destroyed in Poonch village | KNO

Poonch, July 31 (KNO): The security forces on Friday recovered and destroyed an explosive shell in Surankote village of Poonch district. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an explosive material, a 120 mm mortar shell, was found lying in the area following which Police and Army teams rushed to the spot. "The shell was bit rusted and was possibly lying in the area from last few years," the official added. He further said that explosive shell was destroyed on the spot by Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Army—(KNO)
