COVID-19: District hospital Ganderbal closes OPD, IPD sections | KNO

Ganderbal, Mar 26(KNO): Authorities in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Thursday closed the OPD and IPD sections in district hospital Ganderbal amid the growing threat of coronavirus spread in Kashmir Valley as well as whole world. According to wire service-Kashmir news observer (KNO), an official said that, the District Hospital Ganderbal has been declared as an Isolation facility for the ongoing COVID-19 virus. Accordingly, the OPD and IPD facilities at District Hospital Ganderbal are suspended. The General Public is here by informed that the antenatal care facilities including normal deliveries are shifted to PHC Kachan and cesarean section deliveries will be conducted at SDH Kangan till the further orders, the official said. Meanwhile, in an another action Ganderbal Police have been booked and arrested three persons for organising community feasting (Bhandara), it is appealed to general public in District Ganderbal to avoid such programs for safety of people—(KNO)
