Gunfight rages in Narwani Shopian | KNO

Shopian July 05 (KNO) : An encounter has broke between militants and government forces in orchards of Narwani imamsahib area of South Kashmir's Shopian district An official sources told KNO that on receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area joint team of forces including 34 RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area. On intensifying the search operation towards the suspected spot, militants hiding fired upon forces which was retaliated triggering gunfight. Sources said that two to three militants are believed to trapped in the area and firing was on till this report was filled. (KNO)
