Encounter starts in Keshwan forest of Kishtwar | KNO

Kishtwar, June 21 (KNO) : An encounter has broke out between security forces and militants in keshwan forest area of Kishtwar district. Official sources told KNO that earlier a search operation was jointly launched Army and Kishtwar Police after receiving specific inputs about presence of militants in the area. "As the searches were intensified, the hiding militants opened fire which was retaliated by forces triggering encounter in the area," the official said. Further details are emerging. (KNO)
