Sopore, Apr 15 (KNO): Routine classwork in higher secondary schools in Sopore will resume from tomorrow (Thursday) after a day-long disruption. Joint Director School Education Department North Kashmir Hakeem Tanvir, after taking a review of a vandalized school, told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that destruction of the property was deeply unfortunate and had affected the functioning of classrooms. “This institute is for our children and for Sopore. A lot of damage has been done and classrooms could not function today,” he said. Tanvir said, protesters damaged school infrastructure, breaking doors and walls and leaving shattered glass across classrooms, which affected normal functioning, adding that the routine classwork shall restart from tomorrow in both the higher secondaries. Pertinently, the classwork at Government Girls Higher Secondary School and Boys Higher Secondary School Sopore remained suspended today—(KNO)
