Government data, accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reveals that a total of 26,558 EWS certificates have been issued across the Union Territory. Of these, 24,545 were issued in the Jammu division alone. District-wise figures show Kathua leading with 6,972 certificates, followed by Jammu district with 5,881 and Samba with 4,436.
