Two militant associates held in Sopore | KNO

Sopore, Aug 09 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday claimed to have arrested two militant associates from north Kashmir’s Sopore Baramullah District. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Joint team of 22RR, SOG, CRPF 179, 92 BN and Sopore police laid  naka at Darpora Bomai and arrested two Active militant associates. Police spokesman confirmed to KNO and  identified both as Ishfaq Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir of Gund Brath and Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Late Md Maqbool of Darpora Bomai and recovered one Hand Grenade-1 and AK-47 rounds-20 from their possession. He said A case FIR No. 63 / 2020 U/S 7/25 IA Act, 18, 23, 38, 39 ULA (P) Act has been registered in PS Bomai in this rear—(KNO)
