Police says only two injured, officers working to establish full circumstances

Srinagar, June 18 (KNO) : Ten civilians were injure on Tuesday evening after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards Police Station Pulwama, officials said. Officials told KNO that the injured civilians who were injured in the grenade blast have been shifted to the hospital. They said police immediately reached at the spot. The injured as per the officials have been identified as Mohammed Abdullah Kumar, son of Abdul Rehman Kumar of Arihal Pulwama, Abdul Rasheed Khan, son of Ali Mohammed Khan of Arihal Pulwama, Masroor Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Hameed Mir of Arihal Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammed Khan, son of Ali Mohammed Khan of Arihal Pulwama, Riyaz Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Ahmad Wagay of Arihal Pulwama, Mohammed Abass, son of Abdul Aziz of Arihal Pulwama, Abdul Majeed, son of Ghulam Mohammed of Arihal Pulwama, Abdul Majeed, son of Ghulam Mohammed of Arihal Pulwama, Mohammed Shafi Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of Arihal Pulwama and Mohammed Ashraf Hajam son of Wali Mohammad Hajam resident of Malikpora Pulwama. Officials said that three among them including Masroor Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Muhammad Khan and Riyaz Ahmad Wagay have been shifted to Srinagar’s hospital for the treatment. However, police in its statement issued to KNO said that only two civilians were injured in the blast, adding that a case has been registered in this regard while as officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of this case.(KNO)
