Police and CRPF have been deployed across main town in strength to thaw any protests. There is also thin movement of public transport on roads. All the shops and business establishments are closed on call of joint traders’ unions. Pertinently, around 33 shops and godowns including some buildings were gutted in fire on Friday evening after a tear gas shell bursted inside one of the structures, in congested Reshi Bazar Market, lobbed by police to quell the post Friday prayer protests. Meanwhile, police have rejected these claims calling it untrue and assured that the investigation about the incident is going on.
