Clashes erupt during CASO in Litter Pulwama | KNO

Pulwama, June 20 (KNO) : Clashes erupted between youth and government forces during a Cordon and Search Operation in Litter area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening. Reports reaching to KNO said that soon after forces launched CASO in the area, the youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces, which was retaliated by smoking tear gas and sound shells. Earlier, on specific inputs about the presence of militants, joint team of forces including 55 RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area. Locals told KNO that door to door search operation amid clashes is going on in the area.(KNO)
