Pattan Encounter: Slain Militants Buried in Sonmarg

Baramulla, Sep 05 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday morning buried all three Hizbul Mujhaideen militants, who were killed in Yeddipora area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, in Sonmarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District, officials said. Police Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the slain were identified as Hanan Bilal Sofi Arampora Baramulla, Shafat Khan Rawalpora Delina and third one is unidentified after approached families all bodies were taken to Sonmarg. The decision not to give away the bodies was taken in view of the Coronavirus pandemic. Police and some locals dug three graves in a graveyard in Sonmarg after receiving the information from police. Earlier, three militants were killed while army major and two SOG men were injured in 12-hour long gunfight in Yadipora village of Pattan North Kashmir Baramulla—(KNO)
