Rumours Regarding PET Track For SIS Baseless | KNO

It has been learnt that rumour regarding excess measurement of track was spread among the candidates where the physical endurance test (race) is to be held w.e.f 13-09.2017 to 20-09-2017 in respect of the candidates hailing from Jammu-Kathu-Samba Range who have applied for the post of SI in the Jammu and Kashmir police under TRP, it is for information to the public in general and candidates in particular that the track for PET (race) has been measured properly and length of track is 266.6 metres and the candidate has to cover six round i.e. 1600 metres (266x6) in 06 minutes and 30 seconds as per the PHQ advertisement notice already issued.

It is further informed that for–rechecking of length of track, the same has been got also re-measured today on 12-09-2017  through a technical team of Youth Services and Sports J&K and was found correct. Besides, all the things have been put in place at the venue rightly for the convenience of all the participating candidates .
