Speaking on the occasion DIGP, SKR, advised all sportsmen to be positive and play the games with team spirit. In accordance to Frenchman Cubertin’s quote “Play the Game and Play it Well”. He further threw light on importance of sports in daily life.
During the opening ceremony a differently abled cricketer Aamir Rasool of Waghama Bijbehara, was present on the occasion. Amir is representing Indian Para Cricket Team and has participated several times at National level.
A spectacular cultural programme was presented by the students of Police Public School, Anantnag, Hista Higher Secondary School, Anantnag which was appreciated by everyone. The Dare Devil team of J&K Police presented a stunning performance which was the star attraction of the occasion.

Discuss throw (Boys & Girls), 6. Wushur (Girls), 7.Tug of war (Boys), 8. Kabaddi (Boys), 9. Short version Football (Boys), 10. Short put (Boys & Girls), 11. Karate (Boys), 12. Javelin throw (Boys & Girls).
Top 03 teams/ athletes of each event will be selected for 3rd Phase of sports festival which will be played at Zonal Level.
