Bike Expedition 2017 reaches Kishtwar, leaves for Gulabgarh | KNO

The Bike Expedition 2017 today reached here after traversing through Basholi-Bani-Sarthal-Bhaderwah circuit.

The expedition comprising 84 Bikers was received by police Band and students of different school of Kishtwar in presence of District Development Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana and Chief Executive Officer Kishtwar Development Authority. 

 

          The expedition later left for onward journey to explore the unexplored areas of Gulabgarh-Paddar valley. 

    The expedition has been sponsored by Directorate of Tourism Jammu to explore virgin spots of tourist attraction along Jammu–Basholi-Bani-Sarthal-Bhaderwah, Kishtwar-Gulabgarh- and Sanasar-Patnitop-circuits. 

Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma flagged off the Bike expedition on 9th of September from Jammu.

          The aim of the holding the expedition is to spread the message of peace, brotherhood and harmony. The Bikers has been asked to act as ambassadors to promote and explore the charismatic beauty of this region.

          Around 84 men and women Bikers of Jammu and other parts of the country are the part of the weeklong expedition. 

          SSP Kishtwar, ADC Kishtwar, Executive Engineer KDA and staff of Tourism Department were also present on the occasion.
