“The report, which focuses on the impact of pellet-firing shotguns on people's lives in Kashmir, will be launched at Hotel Grand Mumtaz in Srinagar on 13th September, 2017 (Wednesday) at 2 pm. The report documents 88 cases in which victims' vision has been impacted after being hit by pellets,” Amnesty International said in a statement.
“The report release will be followed by a panel discussion on the issue. Spokespersons from Amnesty International India including Aakar Patel, executive director, AI India, and some of the victims will be available at the event to give interviews and respond to media queries,” it added.
