Chairman of Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani, Sunday thanked the people for observing complete shutdown against the visit of Home minister of India & NIA raids and added that overwhelming support of people for right to self-determination has frustrated new Delhi.

Commenting over the meeting held between CM and home minister of India, Geelani said that it is meaningless to talk about developments as all these projects are just prank and false dreams as people are being mercilessly killed, maimed, blinded, women molested, properties vandalised and added that there is no guarantee of life and dignity and every soul is at stake.

Syed Ali Geelani said that we have a bitter experience and we are witness to the fact that Indian authorities exploited our resources and state authorities bargained these power projects for their mean interests.

They can’t befool pro-freedom people, said Syed Ali Geelani while referring to the deceit played by Indian authorities and added that on one hand they are parroting about so-called development and on the other hand follow their sinister designs of changing and altering the Muslim majority character of state and aiming at to amend and do away with article 370, & 35A.

  Pro-freedom leader while referring to the sound & strong economy of state, said that soon after freedom from Indian occupation, we will feel pleasure to facilitate financial assistance to Indian people on humanitarian grounds.

Geelani while appealing people not to get swayed by hollow slogans of state authorities and urged to follow mission of freedom with steadfastness, persistence and commitment.

 Paying glorious tributes to youth slain in Shopian and Sopor gunfight, Geelani said that we are perusing the mission of Shahid Ahmad and all other martyrs who laid their lives for a sacred cause.

Geelani in his condolence message to grieved family of martyrs extended his condolences and prayed for their heavenly aboard and forbiddance to bereaved families.
