Lady dies, 03 injured in road accidents | KNO

A lady died while three others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley.

Kulgam, a Truck bearing registration number JK02S-9387 hit and injured a pedestrian lady namely Fareeda Begum resident of Kujjar, Tangbal at Kujjar in the jurisdiction of Police Station Yaripora. The injured lady was shifted to Sub District Hospital Yaripora for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Handwara, an unknown Scooty hit and injured a pedestrian lady namely Nazeera Begum resident of Mahadyari, Doolipora, Handwara  at Hangalpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Viligam. She was shifted to hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a Tipper bearing registration number JK04B-3072 driven by Mohammad Ashraf Khan resident of Beerwah hit a passenger Auto bearing registration number JK01F-9335 driven by Tasaduq Hussain Dar resident of Hamdania Colony, Bemina at Sabden, resulting  in injuries to the Auto driver. The injured was shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kupwara, a motorcycle met with an accident at Darpora, Lolab in the jurisdiction of Police Station  Lalpora, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Aquib  Ahmad Mir  resident of Darpora, Lalpora. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
